The new ID card which was launched yesterday 28th august 2014 in Abuja is powered by mastercard a multipurpose card for identification,e electronic signatures, and can be used for depositing money withdrawing and making payments.
The first phase of the project will issue 13million nigerians and the second phase will issue 100million nigerians the card.
